District 9112 Membership Seminar Highlights

The Rotary International District 9112 Membership and New Club Development Seminar, chaired by PDG Wale Ogunbadejo, took place on Thursday, August 21, at the Equity Resort Hotel in Ijebu-Ode. This event is sure to remain memorable for a long time.

Not only was it the birthday of our District Governor, Rotarian Lanre Adedoyin, who was warmly celebrated by fellow Rotarians and attendees, but a special evening party was also organized in his honor by the Zone 6 clubs.

Additionally, the seminar featured an impressive lineup of speakers who generously shared their valuable insights and expertise.

Among the speakers was the District Governor, Rotarian Lanre Adedoyin who addressed the audience on the topic of “District 9112 Membership Targets.” IPDG Rotarian Olufemi Adenekan also contributed insights during his talk on “Fresh Perspectives on Forming New Clubs.”

DGE Rotarian Layi Abidoye discussed “What Makes a Club Vibrant,” while DGN Rotarian Uyi Sowobi focused on “Attracting New Members.”

Additionally, our District Rotaract Representative, Rtr. Atitebi Abiodun shared valuable knowledge on “Elevating Rotaract as a Tool for Membership Development.”

Other distinguished speakers included PDGs Deinde Shoga and Kola Sodipo, who presented on the “Club-in-Club Approach as a Tool for Membership Development” and “Enhancing the Club Experience through Members’ Satisfaction Surveys,” respectively.

PAG Ehi Braimah and PAG Solu Sotunde addressed the topic of “Effective Public Image: A Veritable Tool for Membership Development” and shared their insights on “Strategies for Engagement and Retention,” respectively.

The topic “Shaping Rotary’s future through Diversity, Equity & Inclusion” was taken by PP, Adebukunola Soile Balogun.

There was an abundance of valuable knowledge to be gained, and not a single moment with these intellectuals was boring; the attendees were fully engaged throughout.

Now, let’s talk about the highlight of the day—the party organized by the clubs in Zone 6. It was immensely enjoyable, filled with dancing; truly, this is where dance comes alive!
