District 9112 Public Image Seminar Highlights

“A positive public image is essential for attracting new members, and it helps Rotary Clubs to build a reputation that will create confidence in Rotarians, secure generous donations, and build strong community partnerships. This seminar aims to strengthen Rotary’s external perception by equipping leaders with the tools to communicate Rotary’s values and impact effectively.”

These words were stressed by the Public Image Committee Chair, PAG Ehi Braimah, as he welcomed attendees to the 2025 edition of the Public Image Seminar.

Held on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, at the Keystone Bank Hall Of Fame Rotary Center, this year’s seminar carried the theme “Beyond The Logo: Building a Compliant and Impactful Rotary Image.”

The event was honored by the presence of the RI District 9112 District Governor, Rotarian Lanre Adedoyin, who warmly welcomed all participants.

Attendees enjoyed a diverse array of topics presented by professional speakers, who shared valuable insights aligned with the event’s theme.

The keynote address, titled “Strategic Media Engagements To Advance Rotary’s Mission In Nigeria,” was delivered by the distinguished Nigerian journalist, politician, and television presenter, Dr. Reuben Abati.

Other notable guest speakers included Dr. Nkechi Ali-Balogun and Rotarian Ibim Semenitari, who serves as the Regional Rotary Public Image Coordinator.

Additional speakers featured PAG Rtn. John Senaya, Rtn. Achime Arinze, Ms. Joy Obinyan, and Rtn. Oromena Osugo.

The Public Image Chair, Rtn. Ehi Braimah delivered an insightful overview of the Nigerian media landscape.

The Public Image Seminar celebrated the induction of new members into Rotary International District 9112, along with the presentation of several awards.
