(+Pictures) Charter Presentation and Induction Ceremony Highlights Of The Rotary Club of Aguda Metropolitan

On Sunday, April 19, 2026, Rotarian Odunaiya Mariam Oluyemisi was officially installed as the charter president of the Rotary Club of Aguda Metropolitan.

She, along with the charter members, received a certificate of charter during the “Charter Presentation and Induction Ceremony” held at the School of Vocational Education, Federal College of Education (FCE), Akoka, Lagos.

As one of the newest clubs in the district, the Rotary Club of Aguda Metropolitan was envisioned by outstanding individuals and was chartered on February 13, 2026. The club was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Surulere North East, led by Rtn. Francis Onyeayana Abuah, with PAG Olubunmi Taiwo serving as the new club advisor.

District Governor Rotarian Lanre Adedoyin encouraged the new members to serve with integrity and compassion, commitment, and zeal, highlighting the importance of leading by example. “Rotarians are expected to lead by example, serving selflessly without measuring cost or profit,” he stated.

The event was attended by the District Executive Secretary, PP Omotunde Olaleye, as well as the Club Development Chairman, AG Dr. Adebukunola Soile-Balogun. Presidents of various clubs, past presidents, AGs, PAGs, fellow Rotarians, and friends and families of Rotary were also present to celebrate this significant occasion.
