Highlights from the ROSFEST’25 Awards Dinner and Raffle Draw
Although ROSFEST’25 has come to a close, the beautiful memories it created will remain with us. This is thanks to the efforts of ROSFEST chairman, Rotarian Alozie R. Nsirimobi, the dedicated committee members, the invaluable sponsors, and the unwavering support from District 9112’s pioneer District Governor, Rotarian Olufemi Adenekan.
Of course, the enthusiastic participation of Rotarians and friends in the games can’t go unnoticed.
The competition, which kicked off on Friday, February 28, ended on Friday, March 7th, with an awards dinner and raffle draw at the Lagos Country Club.
Attendees were on the edge of their seats, eager to win the most sought-after prize of the evening: a piece of land, which was ultimately awarded to Idris Inumidun Odukoya, alias BP Sanji, and sponsored by RESSA Projects. In addition to this coveted prize, there were free flight tickets to any destination within Nigeria, generously sponsored by United Nigeria Airlines, which were won by Halima Oluwakemi Olusesi and Rotarian Rebecca Omokaro Isoke.
Participants who were unable to secure raffle draw flight tickets still walked away with remarkable high-end gifts, including a refrigerator, food flask, football, fan, and many more impressive items.
In the sports matches, Team White faced off against Team Yellow, with Team Yellow emerging victorious in volleyball, while Team White claimed victory in football.
