Rotary Club Of Ajah Golden received the DG D9112, Rtn. Olufemi Adenekan on his official visit to the club.

The Rotary Club of Ajah Golden warmly welcomed District Governor, Rotarian Olufemi Adenekan, during his official visit on Sunday at Orchid Hotel in Lekki-Epe, Lagos State. He was joined by his wife, Rotarian Tayo Adenekan, as well as his entourage.

During his visit, Rotarian Olufemi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the club for maintaining strong connections with members both in Nigeria and the diaspora through its hybrid meeting format, which facilitates participation regardless of location. He commended the club for its impactful projects undertaken during the “Magic of Rotary” year, particularly praising President Rotarian George Esther Ijeoma while also acknowledging the efforts of the club’s charter president, Rotarian Oromena Osugo.

The District Governor’s appreciation extended further, as he recognized the club’s commitment to paying its Rotary International dues, citing this as a significant step toward achieving the “Club Excellence Award.”

In gratitude, the club presented gifts to the District Governor, his spouse, and the entourage as tokens of appreciation. The club’s Assistant Governor is Rotarian Kelvin Chuefu Ofili.

The Rotary Club of Ajah Golden aims to enhance its membership by 10 to 15 additional members, continuing its mission of creating the magic of Rotary.
