Rotary Club of Tincan Island Courtesy Visit to DG, Rotarian Olufemi Adenekan
The Rotary Club of Tincan Island recently visited District Governor Rotarian Olufemi Adenekan in preparation for his upcoming official visit to the club.
Rotarian Evans Madu, the president of the Rotary Club of Tincan Island, and the members look forward to welcoming the Pioneer District Governor of RI District 9112, Rotarian Olufemi Adenekan, and his entourage later this month.
This was announced following a courtesy visit from the president and the club members to the District Governor and his team at the Majiyagbe B. Jonathan Building, District 9112, Rotary Center on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
“The Sea Port,” slogan club visit was brief yet significant. The District Governor expressed pride in the club and hoped for a restoration of its past glory. Rotarian Olufemi Adenekan encouraged the members to strive for excellence and ensure that its glory is returned, noting that the club is the envy of many others due to its revered reputation.
In response, the president, Rotarian Evans Madu reaffirmed their commitment to restoring the club’s former prominence. The club’s Assistant Governor is Rotarian Adewale.
