This is because the Chairman, PP Adekemi Folorunsho, and her dedicated committee members gave the attendees an exceptional event that left a lasting impact.

Talk about the ambience at the Victoria Garden Conference and Event Center, Alausa Ikeja, Lagos State, where the conference was held. It was inviting, complemented by elegant decor and delicious cuisine offerings. Also, talk about the lineup of distinguished speakers who provided invaluable insights while expertly addressing their respective topics. Notably, three of the speakers—Dr. Mrs. Onayiga Atinuke, Abiola Lasehinde, Mrs. Ndidi Ukaonu chose to become Rotarians (now members of Rotary Clubs of Ikoyi, Ikoyi Metro, Lekki Central respectively) marking a significant achievement in membership growth for Rotary International District 9112.

She has raised the standard of women’s activities in Rotary by creating a beautiful, vibrant, and inviting environment for us.” He concluded by expressing gratitude to the Guest of Honor, speakers, past District Governors, the Mother of the Day, and all guests for their distinguished presence.

During her remarks, the Chairperson of Women In Rotary, whose spouse, Hon. Olufemi Folorunso, was present at the event, expressed her gratitude for the trust placed in her to lead this esteemed committee. She stated, “I accepted this role with the understanding that it is not merely a ceremonial title, but a call to action—an opportunity to empower and inspire women to unlock their potential, foster collaboration, highlight our achievements, and create a platform where inspiration and transformation converge. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the speakers, facilitators, exhibitors, and partners for believing in this vision and helping to bring it to fruition. A special thanks to my committee members; your outstanding contributions have been invaluable.

I also want to express my appreciation to the district leadership for their unwavering support of women-centric initiatives. This support sends a powerful message that Rotary is indeed a place for everyone. I encourage you all to build a more inclusive Rotary, one that goes beyond the principle of service above self, to include strong, inspired, and visionary women.
