Highlights from the District 9112 Zonal MultiClub Learning Seminar for Zones 3-5
The District 9112 Zonal MultiClub Learning Seminar for Zones 3, 4, and 5, organized by the Multi Club Learning Seminar Committee and chaired by Past Assistant Governor Sunday Oguntade, has concluded successfully.
Following the initial seminar for Zones 1 and 2 held at Dowen College in Lagos, Zones 3-5 experienced similar success with this engaging event.
Prominent speakers for Zones 3-5 included Past District Governors Wale Ogunbadejo and Jide Akeredolu, Dr. Peter Adenibuyan, and Past Assistant Governor Ehi Braimah, who covered vital topics such as “Membership: Attract and Retain,” “The Rotary Foundation: Strategies for Fund Raising,” “Understanding and Nurturing Your Mental Well-Being,” and “Public Image: Telling the Rotary Story Correctly.”
Awards were presented to clubs in recognition of their outstanding support and contributions to humanitarian service, which played a significant role in the success of the MultiClub Learning Seminar for 2025/2026.
District Governor Rotarian Lanre Adedoyin expressed gratitude to these clubs, as well as those that were well represented at the seminar.
Chair of the MultiClub Learning Seminar, Past Assistant Governor Sunday Oguntade, emphasized that the purpose of the seminar is to provide Rotarians with the opportunity to network across clubs and expand their knowledge on Rotary and relevant issues. He encouraged participants to share the insights gained from the seminar with their respective clubs, thus creating a ripple effect of information dissemination.
The seminar was expertly anchored by Rotarian Emeka Ezeh, the Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Magodo Central and chair of the District 9112 Sergeant at Arms (SA) Committee. It was held on Tuesday, October 14th at the LCCI Building, Olowopopo Street, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
