The Rotary Day Event of RI District 9112 took place on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at JJT Park, Alausa, and, it was a resounding success.

The program showcased impactful projects from various clubs, with club ambassadors proudly explaining their projects and providing detailed insights into the positive impact they’ve made within their communities as the DG, Rotarian Lanre Adedoyin and team toured the exhibition banners displaying these impressive projects, which aligned with Rotary’s Major Areas of Focus.

Additionally, the event included the presentation of ambassadorial recognition plaques to nominated ambassadors from various clubs. Iconic ambassadors were honored for their significant contributions to the success of Rotary Day 2026, while vendors who demonstrated outstanding performance were also recognized.

The atmosphere was filled with great vibe and energy fostering networking opportunities and excitement throughout the event.

In his opening remarks, DG Rotarian Lanre Adedoyin assured participants of an engaging program. He expressed gratitude to Chairman PP Dave Olusegun and the committee members for their outstanding efforts in organizing this event, which aims to raise awareness about the achievements of the ongoing Rotary year. He noted, “Today is a celebration of our love for one another and the positive impact made over the past 9 to 10 months.”

Chairman PP Olusegun Dave highlighted Rotary Day as a movement tackling the world’s challenges. He stated, “Rotary is working—quietly, consistently, and powerfully—changing lives and restoring hope. Today we celebrate that impact and remind everyone that a willing heart can make a difference.”
