District 9112 Basic Education and Literacy Seminar Highlights

The District 9112 Basic Education and Literacy Seminar took place on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in celebration of the 2025 International Literacy Day.

With the theme “Promoting Literacy in a Digital Era,” the seminar was held in collaboration with the Lagos State Agency for Mass Education.

Dr. Hussain Luqman, an Associate Professor of Agricultural Extension and Community Development at Lagos State University of Education, served as the guest speaker, delivering an insightful presentation on “Digital Literacy and Education in the Digital Era.”

Additionally, Mrs. Kalesanwo, the Director of the Lagos State Agency for Mass Education, shared her extensive knowledge on Basic Education and Literacy.

The event was held at the Rotary Center and was attended by District Governor Rotarian Lanre Adedoyin, the core team, fellow Rotarians, and family and friends of Rotary.

The chaiman for Basic Education and Literacy Committee is Rotarian Olushola Agboola from the Rotary Club Of Mushin Golden.
